Hi! My name is Kelly, and I’m a software engineer living in the Bay Area, California. I’ve been baking ever since I was little, but only started seriously documenting my baking experiments in early 2020 as a New Year’s resolution which happened to coincide with COVID-19 and a year of staying indoors. I started this blog in conjunction with my Instagram to share recipes from my posts with whoever wants to bake along.

As for my blog name Usagi Baking, usagi (うさぎ) is Japanese for rabbit, and rabbits have been a very important part of my life. Outside of the kitchen and coding, I love to play with my bunny Posy, and I love to travel, especially to Japan! As well as recipes, this blog will also feature some of my travels and lifestyle snippets.
